Welcome to Gateway Church
Gateway Church is a young vibrant family church in Rochester, Kent. We are a group of people from various Christian walks, coming together because of our hunger for the things of God. We are a cross-cultural, multi-generational church and we would class ourselves as Pentecostal, believing in the gifts and the move of the Holy Spirit. We are a church that sits under the umbrella of the Assemblies of God Great Britain and part of the evangelical alliance in Great Britain.
Our moto is to love God and to love people. God loves us so much that He died in our place to make atonement for our sin. He conquered sin, death and sickness on the cross and He loves us and continually changes us for the better (2 Corinthians 3:18).
We welcome you! Come and visit us and allow the presence of God to encounter your life. We believe that without a touch and a move of the Spirit, we would be unable to carry the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to a broken world.

Our Mission
Our various church programs and activities are geared for one very reason – and that is to grow in the things of God and to introduce the love of God to others. By reaching out to people in our community, we show the love of God.
Our Values
Building with love and strong relationship we believe the church is a means to reach out to one another and reach out to a broken world. As a church we need to serve one another. We need to learn to be the body of Christ so that the body of Christ can be effective within our community.
Our Vision
Our Vision changes depending on what we feel God is saying! 2024 is a year of allowing God to grow us. By being presence lead, we therefore allow God to change us through prayer and fasting, we put ourselves in a place of surrender. God has not called us to make convert, He has called us to make disciples.
Our Faith
Our faith is in Jesus Christ who we believe is the answer to the world’s struggles. Our faith is a great way for us to connect with others, not necessarily just with folks from our congregation but connect with others of the same faith. Coming together makes us stronger! Having Jesus in common is more important than our theological differences.
