Gateway Compassion Dartford

Compassion for our community is a central part of church life as we believe in is a fundamental part of Christianity to show God’s love to those in need.

If you are in a time of need please contact the office to see if we can offer you some help.

There are a wide range of helpers both from in and outside the church.  We are grateful to all our helpers and the many schools and organisations that offer support and donations to the ongoing projects that we are a part of.

If you would like to support and be a part of any of the Gateway Compassion Projects or would like to make a donation to their running costs, please contact us.

Gateway originally setup the Dartford food bank. After many years, at the beginning of 2018, we transferred responsibility for running it over to the City of David Church. We do continue to support it both with donations and volunteers.

This is open to anyone who can prove they are in a time of hardship and receiving some form of benefit.

The helpers are available to listen to any problems you may be facing and can direct you to external organisations which may be able to help you further.

Love In Action

In 2018, we launched a project throughout the church to show love and compassion to the people around us.

Each month, we focus on a different group of people with gifts or practical support.

If you would like to be a part of this, please contact us to find out what the next month's activity will be.
