Our Services

We have a modern and contemporary style to our meetings that uses visual media and modern style praise and worship songs. We sit on comfortable chairs in a recently built school where we dim the main lights and use coloured lighting to create an exciting and modern church atmosphere.

We encourage people to actively participate, but also provide a friendly non pressured environment for new visitors and people just wanting to “check us out”.

Our services tend to last about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Refreshments are served before and after the service, so that people have space and time to meet with new and existing friends and enjoy doing life together.

Our Music

We use microphones, keyboards, guitars and drums and so the sound levels may be higher than traditional churches.

We sing songs from a variety of church movements and artists including Hillsong, Planetshakers, Bethel, Chris Tomlin and Kari Jobe.

Our time of praise and worship lasts about 30 minutes, and you will see that people will clap, dance and raise their hands – we believe these are all a part of worshipping God, but there is no pressure on anyone to do the same.

We are always looking for new singers and musicians to join the team.

Our Messages

We have a variety of people who speak at Gateway Vineyard Church who have a desire to teach, inspire and help people grow in their relationship with God and understanding of the Bible.

We have a shorter spotlight message given by a different person each week which lasts 3 minutes before the main message which lasts about 30 minutes.

All messages aim to be life applicable and easy to understand.

At the end of the message, there is usually an opportunity to receive prayer in response to the message or for any area of life where you may be struggling or in need. Again there is no pressure on anyone to do so.
